Patar Beach in Bolinao, Pangasinan

Patar is one of the fine beaches in Luzon. It is located in the north of Manila in the province of Pangasinan, which is also known for the Hundred Islands national park. There are several resorts along the beach and some offer decent rates for budget travelers. Most of these resorts in Patar are made of the typical bamboo and palm huts which add to the bucolic charm of this tourist spot. Nearby is the Cape Bolinao light house, which you can arrange to visit for a side trip.

How To Get There
Patar beach is easily reachable by land. You can get a bus or drive to the town of Bolinao. Bus companies Victory Liner, Five Star and Dagupan Bus have routes to Pangasinan.

When driving to Patar beach, take the North Luzon Expressway and exit at Dau. Take the road going to Baguio, and go through Tarlac City. At the Victory Liner junction take the road to Camiling and Bugallon. Drive until the next junction at Bugallon and take the road to Sual and Alaminos, Pangasinan. Pass through the town of Bani and turn right to Bolinao.

The trip to Bolinao usually takes 4-5 hours.
