Gubat Bay

Gubat Bay is located on the southeastern tip of the Bicol peninsula in Luzon. It has a long stretch of beach with fine sand and a good strong waves from the Pacific Ocean, and because of such Gubat bay has been the venue of water sport activities such as skimboarding and surfing.

For surfing enthusiasts, the best time to go to Gubat bay would be from Ocotber to December when the sea experiences a good beating from storms.

Skimboarders will find Gubat Bay quite a paradise. The shore is clear of jagged rocks and the sand is fine. Skimboards can be rented here for 20 pesos an hour. Beginners to skimboarding can ask locals to teach them the sport for a fee.
