Diwaran Island
In three years time we might see a serious contender to what has been Boracay’s undisputed title as the “Philippines’ Beach capital.” With Banyan Tree, a resort and hotel management company, entering into an agreement with the Philippines government, the Diwaran Island in Coron Palawan will be developed into a premier tourist destination complete with hotels, a town center and a marina that will rival Thailand’s Phuket beach.
