Though Google still promises to support the the open source browser Mozilla, Google has come up with its own browser — the Google Chrome. Presented as a non-fat browser without the bloating features, Google says its browser is crash resistant and more secure. Google also presented a new Javascript engine with the browser that could support richer applications never seen before in the web. The Google Chrome is positioned as the browser for web applications and is slated to be launched today, according to the Google blog.
