Hapuna Beach

by Manilenio! on May 11, 2009

The [tag]Big Island[/tag] in the state of [tag]Hawaii[/tag] hosts [tag]Hapuna[/tag] Beach, a wide expanse of soft, white sand perfect for beach-side activities. During the summer the sandy strip expands to over 200 feet, which means there’s plenty of space for sun-revelers who like to sunbathe, play frisbee, beach volleyball or tag football. The winter months bring tall waves, much to the excitement of surfers in search for the perfect waves. Much of the year though the waters are gentle and clear where you could safely swim, snorkel, boogie board or skimboard.

On dry land you can have as much fun as you can have on the beach. The [tag]Hapuna Prince Hotel[/tag] has a [tag]golf course[/tag] where you can practice your swing. Along the beach there are concession stands where you can eat yummy beach food. If you are into buffet or upscale dining, there’s Hapuna Prince Hotel’s restaurant.

Hapuna is an amazing beach! It’s definitely one of the best in the United States. It’s unfortunate that there aren’t waves in the summer though. For more information about Hapuna check out http://www.gohapuna.com
