The HP Mini-Note is the computer maker’s answer to the Asus Eee PC. It features an 8.9-inch high resolution LCD display, a full-size keyboard, a 120 GB hard drive and a 1 GB RAM all packaged in a solidly built aluminum case. HP sells several configurations of the Mini-Note, some installed with Windows and some with Linux. The one at ThinkGeek sells for $549.99 and comes installed with a version of SuSe Linux.
