Laing Pasta from Cucina Gayuma

Laing Pasta from Cucina Gayuma

Laing is a dish that originated from the Bicol Region in the Philippines. Taro leaves are dried out under the sun and are sauteed with coconut milk, ginger, onions, garlic and shrimp paste.

Cucina Gayuma, a restaurant near Greenhills in Metro Manila gave a twist to this native dish by serving it with pasta noodles. The result is good – very Filipino.

  1. Sounds interesting… do they have a branch here in the south?

  2. Unfortunately no, the one in Granada street in Greenhills is their first branch.
