Laiya Beach in Batangas

Laiya is a long stretch of beach with sandy shores and gentle waters, backdropped by a majestic view of Mt. Daguldol.

This beach community was a well kept secret among camping circles until the recent infrastructure developments that made it easily accessible to all vacationers. Laiya is easily reached by land, either by hiking through Mt. Daguldol or a 3-hour drive from Manila.

How To Get To Laiya

Head to the south from Manila using the South Luzon Expressway. Exit at Santo Tomas Batangas and use the Star Tollway. From the Star Tollway exit to Lipa, pass by C.M Recto and turn right at P. Torres. Go left towards the Padre Garcia Public Market and then right to the Batangas Racing Circuit. Drive until the town of San Juan and when your reach Municipal Hall, turn right for Laiya.

View Larger MapSince it is near the metropolis, you can arrange a day trip wherein you arrive at Laiya in the morning and head back to the city in the late afternoon. But if you intend to stay long and visit other spots in the vicinity, there are several resorts that will be more than happy to accommodate you.

Mostly are good-looking in the net.. but in real, there are exorbitant prices not quite good enough for the accommodation, employees not much warm
to the needs of the customer–they are on the: what you see is what you get basis, nothing more, but much is less…

Do not depend on the net… once you call them, tone of voice is different… most staff do not know what they are dealing with… much to say not well-oriented or not oriented at all….grrr…..

food is not that good, employees not good, facilities not good, fuckage tour not good either, everything is not good.

Most of the “Nice” Beach resort in Laiya Batangas are VERY expensive.
Nasugbu is a nearer alternative if you just want to go to a beach.
But if you are willing to pay more and drive longer, Laiya can be the place for you.
