New Ultraportable from Acer: Aspire One

Acer joins into the fray of ultraportables with the announcement of the Aspire One ultraportable notebook. The UMPC was announced on June 3rd 2008 at the Computex Expo in Taiwan. Unlike the HP 2133 mini-note, the Aspire One will be powered by a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom CPU with a memory up to 1GB of DDR2 SDRAM. Other features include the standard wireless b/g ethernet, a 1.3 megapixel camera and 80 GB of hard disk.
