Poipu
Poipu beach in Kauai‘s south shore is perfect for families. A protected cove in the beach has waters good for swimming and snorkeling. Snorkelers are treated with the appearance of brightly colored schools of fish, that includes the yellow butterfly fish. On the shore, sunbathers and frolickers are occasionally surprised with the appearance of basking monk seals, which are actually an endangered species.
