Potipot is indeed a beautiful island. we stayed there from April 5-7, 2012. here are some pointers:

Victory Liner bound to Sta. Cruz. Inform the conductor to drop u at Dawal, Uacon Candelaria. ( 6 hours travel)
Victory liner Caloocan to Uacon P432.

P400 - boat rent -round trip (6 persons capacity)
less than 5 minutes to reach potipot island.
P100 for day tour 5am- 4pm; or P300 for overnight (no receipt will be issued) I dunno why....It must be reported to the local government.
P100- mineral water (1 gallon)

Options: Bring your tent. or p500 rent for the kubo.or check in outside the island
So far, nothing to worry for mosquito bite
Complete Signal (globe, sun and smart)

There are many comfort rooms in the island. approximately 6 shower rooms and 4 toilets. There are many "ihawan" there. wag na kayo magdala.
Bon fire is not allowed....

Most complaints are the unpleasant comfort rooms, crowded and garbage. But for me it's not serious. I saw 4 big men collecting the garbage, and another one cleaning the comfort rooms. For tourists, as courtesy to the next user please flush the toilet or don't leave your trash anywhere.
I spent my holy week here but it's not crowded. Most of the bad reviews are exaggerated. See for yourself.
We reallyy enjoyed our vacation here!!!!!!!
