Snake Island in Palawan

by Manilenio! on November 20, 2008

Snake Island is a white sand beach named as such due to its elongated and winding sand bar resembling a [tag]snake[/tag]. It is easily accessible from [tag]Puerto Princesa[/tag], the capital city of [tag]Palawan[/tag]. Aside from swimming, travelers here can hire boats and snorkel off the shores and feed the fish. There are also small islands surrounding [tag]Snake island[/tag]‘s waters, you can easily ask boatmen to take you island hopping for a fee.

It’s perfect, a must see / must-visit place. Feeding the fishes was so wonderful. Bring your own food when you there, the ones sold in the island is too expensive. Bring breads also for the fishes. Cottages are free, first come, first serve basis. There’s no entrance fee as well. Isn’t it perfect?
